With the Bank Holiday Weekend hastily approaching, I'm back with 10 great things to do/see in London this May. This time, you'll find a lot of nights out to shake that exam, work or even general life stress away, both before and during the Bank Holiday weekend! 1. Rye Wax; The Roast After The Night Before

What? "A record shop, art and music venue aiming to serve the community of Peckham, with new, exciting ideas that may not quite fit anywhere else."

2. Munch and Rave Daytime Party

What? "Old skool" vibes, unlimited 'Munch and Rave' rum cocktails, and unlimited wings with the choice of three different sauces to accompany them.

3. The Fox and Firkin

4. One Frsh Friday

What? "One of Shoreditch's favourite Friday night event's – One FRSH Friday will be throwing a little warm up party in BeatBox!"

5. FabricLive

What? "3 massive spaces, hosts, resident and guest DJ's playing the latest, as well as some classic drum and bass, dubstep, house and techno."
If? You have the stamina to dance for 8 hours, and wanna hear some good music while doing so, come down to either one of these!

6. 4 to the Floor Presents Snips (Kiss FM)
Where? The Book Club, 100-106 Leonard Street, Shoreditch, EC2A 4RH
When? Sunday 20th May, 7:00-12:00am (with more events beforehand)
What? "Snips (Kiss FM) founding member of UK's most successful hip hop collective Livin Proof, playing a 4TTF set. Having dropped his debut album on the Houseology label earlier this year, Snips shows a diversity in sound while remaining firmly rooted in his hip hop roots."
If? You fancy cutting some shapes to the hottest house sounds, as well as vibing to some Hip-Hop, House and Funk in the same night, this is the event for you. If you want a little practice before the main event, there are also a couple of dance workshops before hand; with a newstyle hustle workshop from 4:00-6:00pm and a house dance class from 6:00-7:00pm.

7. We Are Fstvl

When? Friday 25th May - Sunday 27th May
What? "Winner of Best New Festival, Best Medium Sized Festival and Best International Festival, We Are FSTVL returns once more this summer after another record breaking sell-out success in 2017! For one huge weekend in May our beloved Airfield Of Dreams at Damyn’s Hall, Upminster, combines some of the world’s biggest names in electronic dance music with some of the world’s leading club brands and labels for 60,000 FSTVL fans."
If? You're a Londoner looking for a festival right on your doorstep, then look no further! There are some big names in a variety of genres, so there is really something here for everyone. Also make sure you keep a lookout for our friend DJ Jess Bays, we're expecting big things from her!

8. All Points East Festival

When? Friday 25th May - Sunday 27th May
What? "All Points East is a brand new ten day event in East London's beautiful Victoria Park, encompassing a three day music festival, community focused programme of midweek entertainment and three huge APE Presents headline shows."
If? You have a varied taste in music, I can guarantee that you'll find someone new to fall in love with at this festival. You can also come along after the festival for four days of free activities and events, ranging from outdoor cinema and street food, to pop-up bars and art. 9. Gala Festival

10. Rampage May Bank Holiday
